The boys and girls varsity basketball teams both won last night!
The girls won in a blowout fashion at Woodward 70 - 29!!! Several Big Red girls were in double figures in this lopsided win!
The boys won by 1 point - yes 1 point - at Winton Woods. Jack Smith ended up with 32 points, including making both ends of a one and one with 10 seconds left in the game to put Hughes up by 1. The defense held and your Big Red came out on top 58-57!
Congrats to the Big Red Varsity teams who are both now 1-1 on the year.
Next up, boys at Taft Friday night, girls at Taft on Saturday.
